www.iconfetch.com | Where the Legends of Music are Found... Proving the idea that 'you can take the man out of radio, but you can never take radio out of the man', Tony Peters 'retired' from a 20 year career in broadcast radio, but his passion for music and music-industry news only grew stronger. So after a brief hiatus to raise his 2 young sons, he found himself drawn to the modern phenomenon of internet radio, where he creates his own popular broadcasts without the regulation and overhead of traditional over-the-air radio.

Tony started his weekly Icon Fetch podcast at the internet radio hub known as Blog Talk Radio. He quickly became a featured host, thanks to Tony's professional production quality and insightful interviews with internationally renowned guest artists. But when opportunities for additional interviews with high-profile musical guests started rolling in, Tony realized that he needed his own dynamic website, where he could archive past shows, promote upcoming shows, share his endless knowledge and insight about all things music (past, present, and future), and promote his own growing list of sponsors and advertisers. So, not surprisingly, Tony turned to long-time friends, John and Jen, to build a dynamic multimedia-enabled Joomla site that could manage a large collection of always-evolving content.
The result of that effort is www.iconfetch.com. A high-traffic site with a growing loyal audience, iconfetch.com is home to all of Tony's weekly interview shows complete with embedded streaming audio players. It also hosts an expanding list of album reviews, an event calendar featuring the concerts and shows of his guests, Tony's blog, and much more.
We are very proud of iconfetch.com and are certain that it will be a huge success for Tony. We hope that you will check it our for yourself and become yet another loyal listener! When I came up with the idea for iconfetch.com, I knew what I wanted, and I had just enough background in web design to know that I couldn’t do it myself. That’s when I reached out to John & Jen at Springhill Interactive Media. I wanted a site that would be unique and full of content, but still be pleasing to the eye and not overrun with unnecessary clutter. John & Jen have been intuitive when it comes to finding ways to take my ideas and make them reality. Through just a couple of meetings, we were able to map out where we wanted to go with this site. What continues to amaze me is their attention to detail. They’ve taught me over the course of a few months to look at my project, not just from one side, but from all angles. It has been a pleasure watching this blossom into a dynamic website that I can really be proud of. – Tony Peters, Icon Fetch |
