The White House announced that they have migrated their website to an open source CMS (content management system) platform called Drupal. The new platform, which is very similar to 'Joomla!' (though not as user-friendly) is expected to deliver tangible improvements in security and application flexibility. We say, kudos to the Obama team! Open source rules! "John & Jen have been intuitive when it comes to finding ways to take my ideas and make them reality. Through just a couple of meetings, we were able to map out where we wanted to go with this site. What continues to amaze me is their attention to detail. They’ve taught me over the course of a few months to look at my project, not just from one side, but from all angles. It has been a pleasure watching this blossom into a dynamic website that I can really be proud of." – Tony Peters, Icon Fetch |
